The world is defined by instability. The ground beneath our feet feels constantly shaky—jobs change, crises arise, and certainty is rare. In this shifting landscape, where do you find a place to stand firm?

The answer isn’t in better planning or perfect control—it’s in simple faith.

We spend our lives planning, controlling, and running worst-case scenarios. We think success belongs to the most prepared. Here is the profound truth: God doesn’t need you to have it all figured out. He just needs you to believe. Release the pressure of self-reliance. God is not asking for your flawless roadmap; He is asking for your surrender to His power. Letting go of control is the first step toward true stability.

This truth is rooted in a powerful principle from scripture. The people of Judah faced an overwhelming disaster (2 Chronicles 20). Their rescue wasn’t based on their strength, but on this divine directive:

“Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be established; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.”2 Chronicles 20:20 (NIV)

Notice the critical order: Faith First, Establishment Follows. This is where we struggle. We always want to see it first, but God is saying believe Me and then you’ll see it. True establishment is being actively held and supported by a God, regardless of what chaos surrounds you.

If you face instability today, remember the call to faith: Victory doesn’t start with proof. It starts with trust. Choose to believe God’s promise over your current reality. When you put your faith in the LORD, you stop relying on the shaky ground of your own effort and find your foundation on the eternal Rock of God.
